Alyssa is a seasoned therapist with almost a decade of experience. She has a genuine passion to helping others and works from a trauma-informed lens building a safe space to work to life challenges. Beyond her eight years of post secondary schooling, she seeks opportunities to further refine her skills.
She is passionate about learning new therapies to further integrate various treatment modalities such as CBT, DBT, EFT, ACT, and ART. She has a special interest in using evidence-based treatment modalities as she worked as a research assistant and is a co-author for a mobility study which has been published in Journal of the American Medical Association.
Alyssa has experience working in addictions, trauma, various mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, relationship issues, grief, borderline personality disorder, chronic pain and illness.
